Arnold Schwarzenegger Goes West For Suntory Coffee

Nicknamed “The Austrian Oak” in his body building days, “Arnie” or “Ahnold” (playing off his accent) during his acting career, and more recently “The Governator” (a portmanteau of Governor and Terminator, referring to his internationally popular film role), [Arnold] Schwarzenegger as a young man gained widespread attention as a highly successful bodybuilder, and later gained worldwide fame as a Hollywood action film star.

Coffee is a widely consumed beverage prepared from the roasted seeds—commonly referred to as beans—of the coffee plant. It is usually served hot but can also be served cold. A typical 7 fluid ounce (ca. 207 mL) cup of coffee contains 80–140 milligrams of caffeine, depending on the bean and method of roasting and preparation.

From the early 1990s, Suntory has collaborated extensively with Melbourne biotechnology firm Florigene to genetically engineer the world’s first true blue rose, a symbol often associated with the impossible or unattainable. In 1991, the team won the intense global race to isolate the gene responsible for blue flowers, and has since developed a range of genetically modified flowers expressing colors in the blue spectrum, as well as a number of other breakthroughs extending the vase life of cut flowers.

Kumi Koda (倖田 來未, Kōda Kumi) (born Kumiko Koda (神田 來未子, Kōda Kumiko) on November 13, 1982) is a Japanese pop singer who debuted in Japan in 2000 with her first single, TAKE BACK. She did not achieve success until her seventh single, real Emotion / 1000 no Kotoba, which was a hit because of its connection to the videogame, Final Fantasy X-2. Her popularity skyrocketed in 2005 after the release of Butterfly and being named one of the best selling artists of 2005 from the success of BEST ~first things~.

Kumi says her one line “Diet Coke please” in her best Katakana English: 「ダイエト・コーク・プリース」(Daitto Kouku puriisu).

Diet Coke (sometimes known as Diet Coca-Cola) or Coca-Cola Light (sometimes known as Coke Light) is a sugar-free soft drink produced and distributed by The Coca-Cola Company. It was introduced in the United States in July 1982 as Diet Coca-Cola, and was the first new brand since 1886 to use the Coca-Cola trademark. The product quickly overtook Tab in sales.
