Asahi Super Dry Hot Dogs

Asahi Breweries, Ltd. (アサヒビール株式会社 Asahi Bīru Kabushiki Gaisha) is the 2nd largest beer brewery in Japan and soft drink company based in Tokyo, Japan. The company originally led the Japanese craze for dry beer with Asahi Super Dry in 1987, leading to its dramatic turnaround in business performance, and surprassing former 2nd ranker Sapporo Breweries in sales and profits.

“Got My Mind Set on You” is a song written by Rudy Clark and originally recorded by the late James Ray in 1962. A cover version by former Beatle George Harrison from his album Cloud Nine reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 1988.

Sapporo Beer Yakiniku

The origins of this company is in Sapporo, Hokkaido during the Meiji period, where the Hokkaido Development Commission (Kaitakushi) established many businesses. Seibei Nakagawa, a German-trained brewer, became the first brewmaster of the Kaitakushi Brewery in June 1876, and the first Sapporo Lager was produced at that time. Privatized in 1886, the Sapporo brewery became the centerpiece for the Sapporo Beer Company.

Kirin Beer Commercial Midori Ito

Midori Ito (伊藤 みどり, Itō Midori, born August 13, 1969) is a former Japanese figure skater. She was the first Asian world champion in the sport. She is a graduate of Tokai Women’s University near her hometown, Nagoya.

Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi (長渕剛, Nagabuchi Tsuyoshi), born September 7, 1956 in Hioki, Kagoshima Prefecture) is a Japanese musician, and actor.

The first Kirin beer factory was established in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama in 1907 with help from Thomas Glover, the Scottish trader. It is still there today. The brewery had originally been founded as Spring Valley Brewery in 1870, by the Norwegian-American William Copeland, but he went bankrupt. Under the name Japan Brewery Company the company continued and combined with Meiji-ya to market Kirin Beer for the first time in 1888.
