Konishiki Loves Conducting Suntory We-Suki

Conducting is the art of directing a musical performance, such as an orchestral or choral concert.

Broadly speaking the style of Japanese whisky is more similar to that of Scotch whisky than other major styles of whisky.

Konishiki remained in the Japan Sumo Association as an elder for a short time under the name of Sanoyama, before branching out as a Japanese entertainer under the name “KONISHIKI” (the capitalization is an effort to reflect the association’s requirement to write his name in the Roman alphabet, after prohibition of spelling it out in Japanese characters after his retirement from sumo).

On April 1, 2009, Suntory became a stockholding company named Suntory Holdings Limited (サントリーホールディングス株式会社) and established Suntory Beverage and Food Limited (サントリー食品株式会社), Suntory Products Limited (サントリープロダクツ株式会社), Suntory Wellness Limited (サントリーウェルネス株式会社), Suntory Liquors Limited (サントリー酒類株式会社), Suntory Beer & Spirits Limited (サントリービア&スピリッツ株式会社), Suntory Wine International Limited (サントリーワインインターナショナル株式会社), and Suntory Business Expert Limited (サントリービジネスエキスパート株式会社).

Yuki-onna Cockroach Freezing Jet

Yuki-onna (雪女, snow woman) is a spirit or yōkai in Japanese folklore. Her character is often depicted in Japanese literature, films, or animation.

Cockroaches are abundant throughout the world and live in a wide range of environments, especially in the tropics and subtropics.

Insecticides are substances used to kill insects.

Translation: Fumakilla Limited is a Tokyo, Chiyoda Ward based company that manufactures and sells insecticides and other products.

Multi Screen Game & Watch

Different models [of Game & Watch] were manufactured, with some having two screens and a clam-shell design (the Multi Screen Series). The Game Boy Advance SP, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS later reused this design.

The original arcade Donkey Kong game was created when Shigeru Miyamoto was assigned by Nintendo to convert Radar Scope, a game that had been released to test audiences with poor results, into a game that would appeal more to Americans. The result was a major breakthrough for Nintendo and for the videogame industry [and later] Miyamoto created a greatly simplified version for the Game & Watch multiscreen.

From 1992 until 2016, Nintendo was also the majority shareholder for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball.
