MOS Burger, from the initial letters of “Mountain Ocean Sun”, is a fast-food restaurant chain that originated in Japan. It is now the second largest fast-food franchise in Japan after McDonald’s, and owns numerous overseas outlets over East Asia, including Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hawaii and Hong Kong. It is also the name of the standard hamburger offered by the restaurant, being its first product when the restaurant was founded in 1972.
Focaccia is a flat bread topped with spices and other products, which is related to modern pizza. The basic recipe is thought by some to have originated with the Etruscans or ancient Greeks, but nowadays it is particularly known as a delicacy of the Ligurian cuisine; the best “focaccia col formaggio” (focaccia with cheese) is made in Recco, near Genoa.
