Yamazaki Christmas Cake

In Japan, Christmas cakes are traditionally eaten on Christmas Eve. They are simply a sponge cake, frosted with whipped cream, often decorated with strawberries, and usually topped with Christmas chocolates or other seasonal fruit.

Yamazaki Baking Co., Ltd. (山崎製パン株式会社) is a Japanese company that makes bread, snack foods and other foods headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo. It was established in Japan on 9 March 1948 in Ichikawa, Chiba by Tojuro Iijima as Yamazaki Baking (山崎製パン所) and has continued making baked goods for more than sixty years since its founding.

Takako Matsu (松たか子), born Takako Fujima (藤間隆子), on June 10, 1977 in Tokyo, is a Japanese actress and pop singer/songwriter.
